Home-Alone?
What the heck?
So my Dad goes to startfest (with new found car that i newfoundly can drive)
So my Mom goest to a 3-day home hunt. (with a car i'll never drive, thank goodness)
And my Sister is gone for good in her new home. (with everyone's favourite Folkers family standard crapbox's --> this is the one with the strange back-trunk spirit and door unlocker!)
This leaves me home alone: WTF?
Totally wierd. Beign home alone used to be like quasi-scary, but now its usually just a temporary norm. The peace and quiet is awsome, but also eerie because my sisters room is empty across the hall from me and thats never been the case in my 23yr lived in home.
Even more crazy AKA NUTS?
I went and friggen bought a 2ndary monitor online puchase.
Crazy. I hope it works, should arrive in a week or so. Dual-screen action.
I have nothing to do but do research, job-search. (I actually did some looking around yesterday)
And read books, lots of books.
Books on the go:
- The alchemist (by Paulo Coelho) Excellent!
- The Age of Spiritual Machines - solid, but wieghty in lingo and concepts.
- The Tenth Insight. As disapointing as i expected. Too much co-incidence crap.
- Harry Potter 5 - So far, it's hard to get into the story, as most of the books indeed have been.
- The Lamplighter - This book is just killing me, i still don't know who is who and whats going on and im halfway thru the book!
- The messiah Code - Looks interesting, haven't given it a fair shot yet.
I fully plan on finishing the The Alchemist soon. It's so tempting to read all the way thru right away, but ill squeeze some anticipation out and belabour the reading and go back to focusing on my work. and apparently blogging here.
Holy hell, i have no milk! Helpppppppp i need a vehicle to take me from my home.
