Markypoo - with WAY too much time on his hands..
So, whut do you do when you don't wanna websurf for your job anymore?
Websurf for anythign and everythign else! :)
I totally backed-up and sorted all my pre 2006 added MUSIC.
Pictures YOUR NEXT!
I wrote down a HUGE list of games that i've always wanted to play, but never ever had the time or computing power (sometimes) to play it.
(You do not want me posting this list) seriously it's long!
I also did a chronology of installs, loaded every freaking internet game I've encoutered for myself to date. And Man, re-initiallizing old accounts can be such a CSI-like trackdown... remmebering old passwords, remembering old account/user names.
(You also don't want my posting this list, but i will)
MUD's - Isengard & i suppose Realms of Hell
Subspace - aka Continuum - Aka the best game ever!
Infantry - Aka Gravball infantry - Aka the best Soccer/sport Online game ever!
Metalknights - Turn-based strategy
Starknights - Turn-based, space strategy
... there are are many games in here but this leads us to.
Guildwars - Best MMORPG there is currently (and i have seen them all!) pfft.
World of Warcraft - Once again, dumbing the masses again with fake OWNERSHIP.
Still a great game WOW is, but even those as silly and stupid as Ray have now woken up to realize that the incensant OBTAINING OF BINARY CODE ITEMS is no way to feel real accomplishment in life. There's almost no strategy, just game-time/effort/power.
The funny thing is, I'm known for my dumbass Markypoo name since i first went online in Grade 8 with mono and discovered MUD's in general from a book i was reading.
I stay true to the name to this day,
It's my email address,
It's how i signed MDHS cheques, (so funny)
It's my continual Online Persona,
Marky is my favourite pet name. (unless my Loyalist ct friends say it)
Marky is who i identify with as a person - interesting indeed.
IT's amazing how my internet/computer life has developed from those days.
I feel incomplete without my computer presence somehow.
Yet, at the same time, experiences have shown me, that when i have no email to answer to, when i have no game on the go. When i DON't have a modem/cable connection at all anywhere in a days reach. I FEEL BETTER! I FEEL MORE FREE!
A juxiposition. Indeed.
Alas, markypoo tangency blogging is back. (ack!)
