Example
Entering the commerce program.
It was sweet, lots of fun.
1st year rez, lots of fun, just go right along and play sports, have fun.
Along the way i got involved in stuff cuz i was sailing through and going on exchange was just a year or two away.
2nd Year, same idea, figured maybe I would just go along and decide what i want to do with my degree later, besides next year I'd go on exchange and id figure out what i wanna do. Lots of fun, great family in kingston, great house.
3rd Year, was just all about completing the classes for me, barely worked hard, basically just crammed for my finals and scootched by pulling back to back all nighters and being so happy to just pass my exams. Besides i was going on exchange.
So i go on exchange have a rediculously good time.
Continue the fun with europe travel.
Come home for a 1 month recess, and all through it, realizing, i never really thought about Post exchange, i never really thought about what to do next.
And it's not like i even prepared myself well for 4th year commerce.
Plus my work in the summer has had a serious impact on my trust level and confidence.
Everything i was hoping for has been thrown into question. The business school is not exactly the best place to find solice either. I mean either people are stressed out crazy about landing thier jobs out of commerce. OR they already have offers.
I tried being aggressive about a "mock" interview with a consulting company, and all i did was fall flat, and reconfirm that im so not even close to being prepared for these interviews, letalone a job.
