Marky - Living with Your Gut Feelings & Corazon
This is an attempt at a thought, theory, way of living.
This is my first edited blog i hope.
Only now that i edited it, it's not so edited cuz im a lazy mofo, and want to just post it. And i wanna know what you guys think.
I wrote this a week ago. - March 7th or so? ya. ok .. read stupid.
When you do make a decision about doing something, anything, (talking to someone), (changing you're daily plan), do you stop because it might just be more interesting?
Example.
A. You want to say "hello" to someone who might just be someone you know but you are not sure. And they are just about to fade from you're view. (up an elevator, around a street corner, etc etc)
B. You choose to just go home just because it seems like there's nothing better to do, (or you don't think anyone else is awake)? But you would rather stay up and talk to someone.
Hopefully i've elaborated my thesis.
Now to my point, if i can articulate it.
My feeling is is that you should say hello, even if there is only the slightest chance the person is who you think it is in example A.
My feeling is is that you should check to see if someone else by chance is still doing something, just make sure you don't have something else that is important that needs to be done.
My feeling is you should let yourself (more often) to be guided by feelings, gut, heart, curiosity. Don't think too much, "just do it", be yourself, know yourself, know what you're going to regret later, don't let yourself have to feel regret. And yer know what? It's better to let yourself be guided by the soul and to reflect more often (with god, with a journal, with a good friend). That's when you do some real learning, instead of just secound guessing myself (youself) all the time, just let yourself go, live in the moment, and know you're goals, pursue them, and always check back AFTER that you're goals are still in the right place.
End story: You can't fool your gut, you can't really convince yourself into something that is really the wrong thing to do, cuz you will feel it in you're stomach and it won't lie to you. (unless yer drunk, theory is destroyed due to chaos drinking-factors)
End story part 2: Follow your gut. It's your best guide, and it keeps life interesting. Flowing in a direction that you should be going.
Anyways here's point 3 or 9 or something. sort of unrelated.
I like to think that most of what i do, is for others, but i know i do it for myself. I convince myself, (like I convince myself to buy a product that i don't really need), that i am doing something altruistically, when really there is more in it for me than for others. I convince myself that "everything i do, i do it for (anyone but me)" --> thx bryan adams. should I?
point 3. Pulls together some of these random points. (now its more like a line?)
--> If my goals are to do things for others, and i tell my gut to think that way, and then i truly trust my gut to follow my goals, then im doing exactly what i want to do, cuz my gut will tell me if I'm following it.
Ok that makes no sense.
Whut do we just end with.?
Every-time i think I'm truly getting better at listening to people, i notice im still not. I talk to much still, and i know it. I interrupt people to often. I say too much when fewer words will do. I miss important parts of conversations because im thinking or talking, not listening. I still do it. And i still want to get better at it. Yeesh.
Talk about you're random thoughts.
I Hope you enjoyed my bloggular writing.
