Heyo... It happened again the other day where i blogged and it got fked .. so u missed some stuff. Sigh. Stupid blogger.
Wayne i want you to help me set up a blogger that has more features and doesn't screw me. Plzzzzz ;p
So I sent a large email id been working on to my FTE people in the states. It felt really good to re-read what i was saying a day or 2 later and realize that i really did put a lot of thought into it.
Lately I've been zoning out and sorta thinking back on the whole thing again. It feels great to be able to almost literally picture the residence hallway we sat in until like 4 in the morning talking n' such.
I knew it would and always will have a lasting effect, but i don't normally have such vivid imagry in my mind of things past. And i suck at description. Seriously, ppl ask me like what a person looks like and like a DAY later all i could tell you usually is that the person was tall/short, male/female (hopefully), and if i like thier character. But these images are concrete. And i can hear the annoying ding of the broken elevator that plagued us each night going up and down the ENTIRE night EVERY night and 'dinging' as it opens at each floor. MAN o man .. was that a lovely night sitting RIGHT outside the damn thing letalone when i actually tried to sleep in my room ( like 3 doors away from the damn thing)
Music has also been really nice to listen to. I'm not really sorting and deleting and d/ling lately like i usually do. I just listen to the best of the best in my respective sorted categories. I find it makes me feel good.
I've had pretty much a flawless 3 weeks now at school and i hope that doesn't change. Everyday when i get up and put on my rollerblades i tell myself "don't die", pretty basic thought, but then again its a university campus and crazies are everywhere ;p Or perhaps im just trying to rub the hex of raygay that plagues me daily. Don't die raymond .. ohhhhoooo ..just suffer mercilessly! HA!
School is thhhaat hard, but it is picking up. Some assignments are coming due that i obviously havent even looked at, some might take some work .. oy .. and an ESSAY !! oh god .. its been years. Fking MLA style .. sounds like baseball.
OHHHH i went and joined the DEBATE club last thursday .. off a whim cuz i had nuthign to do that evening yet.
Oh man they all remind me of loser head of that club in highschool - that geek club ( oh yeah CLASSICS! ) HA raymond!
Oh good TiMES indeed. Well anyways the example debates they did were absolutely hilarious. Knee-slapping the entire time. I had tears .. ... so when they said .. hey come to our novice tournament on saturday morning 9am.. i was kinda like, well what the hell... why not, all i lose is sleep and prolly just lazing around .. im mean seriously ..
Anyways .. i was in 3 debates on saturday.
The first 2 were on like politics etc etc. .. zzzzzzz boring, but i fared better than i expected, although i know i have a lot to learn .. in styling and organization. but ya.. it was fun...
So for the 3rd debate my team (of 2) got to be the Gov't side and thus we could make up the debate topic (OH YEAH!)
So .. the lose topic was "mutations are beneficial" so we decided to narrow that down to a debate about "MIdgets deserve more respect" Yes INDEED! It was sooo much more fun, but if talking about midgets for 30 minutes in a formal debate infront of judges (one of which was practically a midget) is not enuf for you well then.. They did this geeky ass ritural that night ( a kegger of sorts) Lots of free beer/shooters/ etc. but we had to make this dumb plea and drink from a vat of black russian (dirty coffee alcholholic beverage) I was already completly inebreated so it didnt matter.
So i definetly had a good day/night and that leads to the current day of sunday. ;p
And OOOHH yeah we Tied our first co-ed intermural frisbee game . 5-5 ... I was the man ! ;p We were shorthanded too ..
we fielded 6 while they were bums and fielded the proper 7 .. ( man it sucks when ppl dont show up)
Ok so ... maybe u care to know what we actually DO in commerce (besides parties and that damn shoe game :)
Comm121 - Finance .. we learn time value of money etc .. stocks etc. loans etc. etc.
Comm163 - BDM - Business decision Models ( essentially we use spreadsheets to solve business problems )
Oh god they almost brought out derivatives in this class ... scary ... scary .. but no , we dont need to know it ;p YA commerce!
comm132 - Stupid marketing .. ( top 4 teams for our big project are presenting thier solution to KRAFT canada) not bad i guess. We are actually going to create a project for a REAL problem they are having .. :) cool eh ?
Comm190 - Ever noticed that stupid program Microsoft ACCESS on yer Xp software .. ya .. basically we learn that ..
only the first like 4 classes were like Intro to Hardware/software etc .. like mad basics of computers ..... booo .. but ya now we are learning how to use this program to make databases. etc.
And my electives are first year geography and sociology .. both fun, lots of lectures etc ..
but man ... ESSAYS !! cmon !! oy ... useless .. ( i think i like commerce cuz no essays)
raymond/fontaine .. write my essays ?? plz plz ? pretty please?
well i think thats enuf for 2 night .. and this better post or i might break all yer legs.. @!! ;p
