Thursday morning at FTE ;p
Im pretty tired.... not mad tired. but im a lil groggy this morning, nice hot shower to wake me up and the true benefits of being on time cuz i prepared my next days clothes ahead of time paid off ;p
Yesterday was mad intense. We did a gender roles activity. The group is split into 4 groups .. 2 male 2 female. 1 of the male groups became very immature.. and as a large group when we came together to talk about it , it was very special how mature they were able to be. We didn't have enough time to finish the entire exercise, but the guys learned a whole lot and the girls were far more mature (as usual). But the guys came a long way. In the end though we decided since it was raining and well, the Leadership group felt it would be ok that we dd our power walk last night. Pretty intense. It was quite the experience yet again. Im a sucker for crying for others. Maybe it was too early, but it went really well and i totally enjoyed talking with everyone afterwards. My check-up group went awsome... i did it pretty much on the fly, didn't do much facilitating, but shared a whole lot of myself. Stuff i said, at the time i thought i might have blown outa proportion about my parents, my sister, my life became much more real when i took the time after on my own to firgure out if that was how i really feel about it.
I'm actually stuck for more things to do with my check-in group.
The kids love our teachers now. they are on the same level as all of us.
